家乐福与挪威NorgesGruppen公司达成协议，双方建立合资公司，并且家乐福旗下的冠军Champion超市本周将在挪威开店。

 

有6家重新包装的超市将以Meny-Champion为字号在挪威首都奥斯陆开张。这些店经营的重点是低价和自有品牌商品。

 

作为与家乐福联盟的一部分，NorgesGruppen将把他旗下的超市转换成冠军店，同时纳入家乐福的产品供应系统。

 

这一合作被看作是NorgesGruppen公司为应对德国Lidl公司将进入挪威开店的竞争策略。

 

Carrefour抯 Champion banner is due to be launched in Norway this week as part of a joint venture between Carrefour and NorgesGruppen. Six remodelled supermarkets are to open in Oslo under the Meny-Champion name. The stores are to have a strong emphasis on price and private label. As part of its alliance with Carrefour, NorgesGruppen is to convert its supermarkets to the Champion banner and will be supplied by Carrefour for grocery products. The partnership has been seen as a response by NorgesGruppen, Norway抯 largest retailer, to growing discount competition. Lidl of Germany is due to open its first stores in the country this month.
